Hi, I’m Monnyca Gammel, a 27-year-old professional freelance portrait and event photographer based in Houston, TX— and always open to travel. I launched my photography business in the summer of 2017, and since then, I’ve been honored to capture timeless, meaningful moments for incredible clients.
I hold a B.A. in Communication Studies with a focus on Media and Public Communication, along with a minor in Digital Media from the University of Houston–Downtown.

It all began in 2015, when I started taking nature photos with my phone everywhere I went. What started as a hobby turned into a passion, and by 2017, I launched my photography journey professionally.
